Privacy Policy

Last updated 23 August 2026

This policy explains what Klair (operated by Klairtech, India) collects when you use klair.in and its tools, why, and how to have it removed. It describes what the site actually does — not a generic template.

The short version

The figures you type into our calculators and document generators are never sent to us. They are processed by your own browser and stay on your device. We collect aggregate page counts, and — only if you choose to create an account — your email address and whatever profile details you enter.

1. Information we do not collect

Because every calculator and document generator runs client-side, we do not receive:

We also do not store your IP address against your activity, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

2. Information we do collect

WhatWhyHow long
Aggregate page counts. A daily counter per page, per event type, per referring domain. No IP address, cookie ID or user identifier is attached. So that we can tell how many visits we get rather than only how many pages were loaded, your browser keeps two values on your own device — klair_ls, the time of your last page view, and klair_seen, a yes/no flag for whether you have been here before. Neither value is ever sent to us. All that is sent is an anonymous “a visit started” or “a first-time visitor arrived” count, exactly like any other page count above. You can clear them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. To know which tools people use so we know what to maintain.Indefinitely, as counts
Google Analytics data, collected through Google Tag Manager. This does use cookies and may include an approximate location and device information. Traffic sources and site performance.Per Google's retention settings
Your email address, if you create a free account or subscribe. To sign you in by emailed link and to identify your subscription.Until you ask us to delete it
Profile details you type into your account — for example your firm's name and address for document headers. So you do not retype them.Until you delete them or close the account
Saved document metadata — type, title, amount and date. Not the contents. So you can find a past document in your workspace.Until you delete it
Subscription records — plan, status and renewal dates. To provide what you have paid for.As required for tax and accounting records

3. Cookies

We use cookies for three purposes:

You can clear or block cookies in your browser. The tools all work fine without them; you will simply be signed out and will need to sign in again.

4. Advertising

We show advertising on our free pages to fund the tools. We use Google AdSense.

Subscribers see no advertising at all. On a paid plan the advertising script is not loaded on any page — not merely hidden. Advertising never appears on a document you print or save as a PDF, on an embedded widget placed on someone else's site, or on our billing pages.

5. Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Razorpay. Card and bank details are entered on Razorpay's own checkout and go directly to them. Klair never receives or stores your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank credentials. We receive only a subscription identifier, its status and your email address. Razorpay's handling of your payment data is governed by their own privacy policy.

6. Email

We send transactional email — sign-in links, receipts and subscription notices — through Amazon Simple Email Service. We do not sell or rent your email address, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you used a free tool.

7. Where your data is held

Account, subscription and document-metadata records are stored in Amazon Web Services in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) ap-south-1 region. Our pages are served through a content delivery network with points of presence worldwide, so page requests may be served from outside India. Google Analytics and Google AdSense process data on Google's infrastructure under their own terms.

8. Your choices

Requests go to hello@klairtech.com and we aim to respond within seven working days.

9. Children

These are business tools and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle personal data will be announced on the site.

11. Contact
