Terms of Use

Last updated 23 August 2026

These terms govern your use of klair.in and its tools, operated by Klairtech, India ("Klair", "we", "us"). By using the site you accept them.

1. What we provide

Klair provides calculators and document generators that implement published Indian tax and labour rules. Some are free; some features require a paid subscription. We may change, add or withdraw tools.

2. Accuracy — please read this one

Klair is not a chartered accountancy firm and nothing here is tax, legal or financial advice. Our tools implement statutory rules as we understand them and show their working so you can verify the result. They cannot know your circumstances, and rules change — sometimes retrospectively.

You remain responsible for what you file, deduct, pay and issue. Check anything consequential with a qualified professional before relying on it. We make no warranty that any figure produced is correct or fit for a particular purpose.

That said, we care about being right. If you find an error, tell us at hello@klairtech.com and we will correct it.

3. Your data and your documents

Documents you generate are produced in your browser and are yours. We claim no ownership of your content and, as described in our privacy policy, we do not receive the figures you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what you put into a document and what you do with it.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Klair to produce false or fraudulent documents, to impersonate another business, or to create records that misrepresent a transaction that did not occur. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent access controls or resell access to paid features except under a white-label licence agreed with us in writing.

5. Accounts

Free accounts sign in through a link emailed to you. You are responsible for the security of that inbox. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused.

6. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

7. Embedded widgets

Our embeddable calculators may be placed on your own site free of charge, provided the credit link is left intact. Removing the credit, or applying your own branding, requires a white-label licence.

8. Availability

We work to keep Klair available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and free use carries no service-level commitment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klair is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any penalty, interest or tax arising from reliance on a figure produced by the tools. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. Questions go to hello@klairtech.com.
